This Week at Woodshed - March 25th

We are very excited in the kitchen this week with the arrival of Spring and the upcoming reopening of our Upper Ganges shop! Our shop doors will be open on Friday, April 7th, for Easter weekend. We are so excited to see you there!

This week's menu has our Wild Nettle Spanakopita on it again, as it was such a lovely Spring dish last week. It is delicious paired with our yogurt herb garlic sauce, quinoa salad, and chickpea salad loaded with fresh mint, lemon, and parsley - a lovely Spring lunch or dinner.

We are making our Tuscan white bean and kale soup this week as the kale is really growing with this spring weather! Brimming with fresh kale, fire-roasted tomatoes, Italian white beans, and fresh rosemary from the garden, this is one of our all-time favourite soups.

We've just received our fresh Alfar La Maja olive oil shipment from Spain and will be bottling up a batch for pre-orders this week. We are so grateful to have access to this beautiful olive oil; it adds clean, pure flavour to our dishes. We love it!

We are also featuring Our favourite handmade corn tortillas from Dos Amores this week.

For dessert week, we are making our Weekend Chocolate Cakes, flourless peanut butter cookies, carrot cake, jars of our handmade lemon curd made with Jane Squier's local harvest citrus and more!

We are so lucky to have access to such vibrant ingredients at the beginning of this beautiful Spring season. It will be a great week!
