This Week At Woodshed - March 5th
We have had a great week in the kitchen; it is so nice to be cooking again!! It has been lovely to have the Woodshed on King Road open, all stocked up with our favourite dishes, and it has been so nice to see so many of you down here.
The sun is shining today, and we are considering our Spring menu! This week we will harvest nettles for our wild nettle soup, a sign that Spring is coming.
We've got our Moroccan fish soup on the menu with gorgeous lingcod from the Pacific Prowler and our vacuum-packed half-organic chickens with paprika honey butter ready for you to pop into the oven to roast.
Also on the menu are our brioche-style cinnamon buns. We don't make these very often- but something in the weather this last week has brought them to my mind, and we are so excited to bake these most decadent cinnamon buns.
They are available for preorder on this week's menu. The Woodshed will be open from Friday morning through Monday evening this week, bursting at the seams with our favourite dishes.
